 Jacques Grant and Rewired formed in 1998 and began playing mostly secular venues in and around the Austin area such as: Babe's on 6th,Steamboat, Earl Campbells, Mother of Pearls, Jazz on 6th, Speak Easy, The Pier, Ski- Shores,
Mozarts, numerous festivals, both Christian and secular, Austin Municipal Airport, Texas Bar and
Grill, and even Luchenbach! Rewired took a 2 and 1/2 year hiatus when Jacques and Elaine's 4th child, Andrew, was born. Now that Andrew is older Rewired is playing again. Already Rewired has gigs booked for the Municipal Airport, Mozarts, Texas bar & Grill, and a possible weekly appearance at The Salt Lick BBQ joint. Rewired is straight ahead Chicago style blues with a Texas kick.
