 Nehemiah Maxwell was born on September 17, 1963 in London England to the proud Parents of Winston and Christine Maxwell. He wasn't from the Royal Family but was Preacher's family. In fact a large preacher's family. With 5 sisters and 3 brothers, Nehemiah was The seventh child who had to learn to stand up for himself and
sing. Nehemiah's father and mother had come from Jamaica to Great Britain. Then sensing God Directing them to America, Winston and Christine moved to Springfield, Massachusetts in 1973 To found a church which is now known as All Nation Church of God. This would be
God's Training school for Nehemiah's future musical ministry. Young Nehemiah left England to come to America when he was only 10 years old. These
first few years were critical to the development of his personal relationship to Jesus Christ. In hisOwn words, he says: " Through the grace of God and the persistent prayers of my sister Barbara, I became a Born again Christian January 29, 1978 at 14 years old. That was more than twenty Years ago and today I am still saying that was the best decision I ever made in my Life." Reading a book is one thing. Knowing the author makes it more meaningful. The same is true with musical presentations like this one. Once again listen to Nehemiah Maxwell say in his own Words why he made this CD and describes his ministry as " In Service for His Majesty " "Over the years I have been encouraged by people to make something they could take home to listen to again and again. I always felt that if I made the CD I had to have the Anointing of God on it. I never just wanted to sing to sound good. I've always prayed for the anointing of God. I believe music is a very powerful tool. There is probably not one day that goes by when the average American wouldn't hear some form of music whether it is in a car, on TV, At the office, or in the elevator. I believe God wants to use this powerful tool. I want to be an instrument in His hand for that purpose. Not to attract attention unto myself but to attract attention to Jesus Christ my Savior, Lord, Baptizer, Healer, and soon coming King" |
