 In 2001 5 guys that where leading worship for their church student ministry felt God calling them to do more with the talent that He had given them.
Wanting to obey God they began to practice and write songs inspired by their lives and God. As they prayed for the will of and a name, they came across the scripture JEREMIAH 20:9 - "And I can't stop, if I say I'll never mention the Lord or speak in His name, His word burns in my heart like a fire. It is like a fire in my bones! I am weary of holding it in." From this scripture the name Soulfire was born. Since that time Soulfire has been given the chance to be used by God to share about Jesus through their music. Soulfire in not just another Christian Rock Band, we desire to take the message of Jesus Christ in our music but most importantly in our daily lives and actions on and off the stage. Honesty and
Integrity are important parts of the band as a group and in our own personal lives. We want to build relationships with people through our miSoulfire's music is a variety and mixture of Rock, Alternative, and Worship. Our lyrics focus on real life issues that relate to Christians and the lost. We want everyone to know that we would be nothing without Jesus and it is only through Him that true happiness and peace can be found. It is by Jesus that we all can make it through whatever life and the enemy throws our way. Our music is comparable to Seventh Day Slumber, Justified, 12 Stones, and other Rock Alternative Christian Bands. We have played a variety of venues from local churches to outdoor events. Soulfire has headlined and opened for local bands to national bands like Seventh Day Slumber. We are very down to earth on and off the stage. We are willing to play anywhere for any size group, we just want to share Jesus with others and be open to God's direction and will for our lives. We are very flexible on pricing, we will pla;y for a set price or love offerings and because of that we are great for student ministries, coffee houses, re We want to be a servant for Jesus and you, not be served. Please do not let financial matters be a reason for not contacting us. We believe trusting in Jesus and what He has called us to do, we will try our hardest to make it work for you. We are available for full blown concepts to praise and worship. We will follow whatever guidelines and needs you have. We just want to reach people and have them realize that living for Jesus is exciting and fun. We have references available upon requests from youth leaders to bands like Seventh Day Slumber.
