| Treading Water |
 Treading
water is a contemporary Christian rock band walking in the plan of God
to fulfill the great commission that Jesus spoke about in the book of Mark,
when he said we are to go into the world and preach the gospel to every
creature. The name "Treading Water" refers to when we sometimes in life
let our sins and our problems over come us, until we find ourselves up
to the neck in them (Psalms 69:1-3). But there is hope we don't have to
wait until we are overwhelmed by problems and sin. Come to God at
the first sign of trouble that is what he would want.
Xavier Florez, Abraham Ruiz, Corey Criado, Chelly Reyna, and Joe Rodriguez have found themselves to be called by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by means of music, to be his hands to touch the life of those who are saved and those who are lost. The music of Treading water progresses from the melody poetry of his word to the edgy hooks of joyful cryouts. We try to create music that touches the soul to strengthen the saved and save the lost. We want to show people what kind of King our God is. |
